Role Summary

The HR Compliance Executive will be responsible for end-to-end labour law compliance across manufacturing plants and project sites. The role requires hands-on experience with contract labour compliance (CLRA), statutory audits, inspections, and coordination with labour authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Labour Law Compliance

Ensure compliance with:

  • Factories Act, 1948
  • CLRA Act
  • Shops & Establishments Act
  • Minimum Wages Act (state-wise)
  • Payment of Wages Act
  • Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act
  • Bonus Act, Gratuity Act
  • EPF, ESI, PT, LWF
  • Monitor working hours, overtime, leaves, statutory benefits
  • Maintain statutory registers and display required notices

Contract Labour & Contractor Compliance (Core Focus)

  • Handle Principal Employer registrations
  • Contractor license applications, renewals & closures
  • Verify contractor compliance related to:
  • Minimum wages & overtime
  • PF & ESI remittances
  • Bonus, leave & statutory benefits
  • Scrutinize contractor bills and compliance documents
  • Conduct regular contractor audits at plant & site locations

Inspections, Audits & Liaison

  • Independently handle inspections by:
  • Factory Inspector
  • Labour Department
  • PF & ESI authorities
  • Prepare audit documentation and respond to notices / show-cause letters

Plant & Site HR Support

  • Coordinate with Plant HR, Admin & Site teams
  • Guide supervisors & contractors on statutory compliance
  • Support accident reporting and statutory documentation

Documentation & MIS

  • Maintain plant/site-wise compliance trackers
  • File monthly, quarterly & annual statutory returns
  • Prepare MIS on contractor manpower & compliance status
