The FRRO Executive is responsible for managing immigration-related processes and compliance requirements for foreign nationals, ensuring adherence to regulations set by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). The role involves handling documentation, coordinating with government authorities, assisting expatriates, and maintaining accurate records for timely submissions.
· Prepare, verify, and submit all required FRRO applications such as: Registration, Visa Extension, Address Change, Exit Permit, OCI/PIO updates, etc.
· Ensure all documents meet the standards and guidelines provided by the FRRO.
· Track application progress and follow up with authorities as needed.
· Provide end-to-end assistance for foreign employees, consultants, or visitors regarding:
o Registration procedures
o Appointment scheduling
o Required documentation
o Address/visa updates
· Accompany expatriates to the FRRO office when required.
· Act as a liaison between the company, foreign nationals, and the FRRO authorities.
· Communicate compliance updates, new requirements, or changes in regulations.
· Coordinate with internal HR, administration, and legal teams to ensure accurate data collection.
· Maintain detailed logs of application submissions, deadlines, renewals, and expiries.
· Create and update compliance trackers.
· Safeguard confidential information in accordance with company and government standards.
· Prepare periodic compliance reports for management.
· Support internal and external audits related to immigration records.
· Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
· Strong knowledge of FRRO processes and visa regulations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
· Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Prior experience in immigration support, HR operations, or global mobility.
· Experience working with expatriates or multinational organizations.
· Familiarity with online FRRO portal workflows.
